Hi I'm Acey Mangum

I grew up in Centerville Utah. I´m an artist. I´m serving in Salta Argentina. I´m a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in Centerville Utah. I am currently a missionary in Salta Argentina serving in the mission offices as I recover from surgery. I love art and often sit and draw for hours on end, but only when I should be doing something else. I love to swim, ride dirt bikes, run around in the mountains and mess with computers. My favorite hobby though would probably be joking around with my family. We´re a goofy bunch but we´re happy. If i could I´d spend hours on end watching "how to" videos on youtube. Knowledge is power!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. When I was around 16 years old I started to become an active attendee of church but inactive in the gospel. I was trying to live off the testimony or faith of others instead of finding my own. Eventually a time came in my life when I needed that base of faith and when I there was no base to be found I fell. After struggling on my own for a while I decided to turn to God, I read the Book of Mormon and asked God if it was true. I was too thick headed to understand my answer for a time but when I finally understood that it was true and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was where I needed to be, it was like a giant weight had been taken off my soul. I am proud to be out serving a mission for the Lord to share with others what I found and what God has waiting for them.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by...living my faith. To me that means active involvement in doing what Jesus would do. I try to be helpful or at least friendly to everyone I meet and if I can, share the gospel with them.
