Hi I'm Jordan

I am a storyteller. I am a sister. I am humorous. I am a mormon.

About Me

I was born into an amazing family. I have two parents who love me. They treat each other with respect and love and. Their example has shaped me as a human being. I also have six brothers and sisters. We all love being active and being together. We love to play games, eat, and play outside. I enjoy working with people with intellectual or developmental disabilities. I have made many friends over the years in doing so. They brighten my life and have taught me some invaluable lessons. I love to meet new people. I'm always looking for opportunities to expand my horizons. I love to go new places. I have a very quirky sense of humor. I love to find humor in my every day life. My life would be very dull without laughter and people to laugh with.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I believe that God, my Heavenly Father, knows and loves me. He has a plan for me. The Gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints gives me the foundation to base my faith and my life on. As I read the Book of Mormon, I learn of its truth. I am a missionary at the age of 21 because whenever I read this book, or go to church, or feel Christ's love surrounding me by the Holy Spirit, all I want to do is stand on a rooftop and shout what I know to be True.

How I live my faith

I know it may seem weird for a young adult to have such a zeal for going to church, but it is the best part of my week. I love to go to church and participate with the members. I enjoy working with youth and children. I have been in the nursery with children 3 years and younger a couple of times since I have graduated from high school. The children I have cared for and taught, truly shine the light of Christ, and I am honored to have accepted the role as their teacher. Being a college student, I attend Institute. I take weekly classes to learn and grow closer to Christ, my Lord. It is such an amazing experience to have those classes intermingled with my college courses.
