Hi I'm Wayne

I have lived in Utah all my life. I just retired from a career in Law Enforcement after 40 years. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I enjoy reading and walking and spending time helping my family. I have been married for 43 years and have 7 children and 15 grandchildren. Along with my wife and family, we have lived in a small community for over 30 years and have enjoyed the closeness of neighbors and the influence of the LDS religion.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I have been a member all my life, I am a member by choice. I came to a conviction of the truth of this gospel many years ago. My early years growing up was in the Salt Lake valley. But I have since lived in several different areas in the state and within the country. Because of the many different peoples and experiences of my life, I have examined what I believe in and how I want to live. I testify of the truthfullness of this Church and the gospel of Jesus Christ. What a wonderfull blessing it is to have a personal relationship with the Savior and to feel his strength and help in our lives. God truly loves us and is there to bless and help us.

How I live my faith

My parents taught me by example how to love and serve other people. In the time that we have lived in our little community I have regularly volunteered in city events and celebrations. Giving freely of my time to the city, or to the church, is important to me. Over the years, in the church, I have been able to teach sunday school, work in the scouting program, serve with the youth and the adults and work in leadership positions. But the greatest joy in service comes from the people you associate with, the friends that we make, and the love that you share.
