Hi I'm Natalie

I'm a southerner, a traveler, a twin, a missionary... and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Hey Y'all I'm Natalie! I am one of four girls in my family and one of them happens to be my amazing twin sister. Yes I am the older twin by 8 minutes:) I love the outdoors and really getting to be around nature. I live for adventure and I would rather be spontaneous than have everything planned. I love traveling with my family to different parts of the world and have those fun memories with them. I’m obsessed with pineapple and rice-even if I am allergic to them. I'm a total beach bum, but I have a secret obsession with the mountains. I might be a southern belle, but I have my redneck side. No shame.

Why I am a Mormon

I thrive and live in happiness because of the church and the gospel in my life. I have literally changed and become a different person because of the knowledge that I have learned and applied in my life. With applying the gospel and the knowledge of the atonement in my life, I have felt a change of heart in my life. That has been of the greatest blessings in my life. I have never had so much peace and true happiness until I have truly come to understand more about the gospel and the atonement. I have been blessed and privileged to grow up with the gospel in my life. I have had these amazing examples and experiences surrounding me all my life, and that is something I am very grateful for. But it isn't enough to just rely on the testimonies of your parents or someone around you. There always comes a point in a members life where they need to know for themselves if it is true. Don't assume it is true-KNOW that is true. I have had small experiences that have led me up to the point that I am at now, but it was when I decided to pray about the Book of Mormon on my mission that I received an answer from Heavenly Father that it is true and I didn't just have to rely on my own thoughts and feelings. The Holy Ghost testified of the truth of these things. Heavenly Father told me. And I can't deny that. I have been the happiest I have ever been and it is because I decided to let the gospel of Jesus Christ change me. I am a Mormon:)

How I live my faith

How do I live my faith? Well it is something that is literally part of me and not just a part of my life. Our purpose is to prepare and meet God again, so living my faith is so important to me. I found myself having a testimony one point in my life, but that wasn't strong enough to keep me going. Being converted to the gospel is how we become immoveable. So the difference of testimony and conversion is that I used to have a testimony, but my actions didn't show it. Now being more converted, I have a testimony...but my actions show it. So by doing the things that Heavenly Father has asked us to do is how I live my faith. Reading the scriptures daily, praying daily, going to church, and applying the gospel of Jesus Christ in my live daily/weekly: Faith, Repentance, Taking the sacrament on sundays, being worthy for the companionship of the Holy Ghost, and enduring. It is by constantly doing these things that bring conversion. And that is how I live my faith. Living it and Loving it:)
