Hi I'm Tanner

I grew up loving cars and sports. I love to play baseball and work on my car. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a fun-loving kid like most. I get excited about life and I love to live it to the fullest. I love sports and I love music. Singing is my passion. There is nothing quite like performing in front of thousands of people. I love my friends and of course my family and just love to have fun. Snowboarding is my hobbie and I absolutely love it. I am thankful for all I have and God is my inspiration.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because there is so much more to it than just a name. I'm not "a Mormon", I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I am a son of God and a servant to him. I don't do what I do because I have to. I do it because it's right. There really is no greater joy that I get in life than knowing that I have a Heavenly Father that loves me and wants what is best for me. A father that, even though he is all powerful and can do anything, still has a love for ME. Who wants the best for ME and wants ME to be happy. That is what he wants for all of his children and being a member of this church I really get to learn who God is and who Jesus is and I get to develop a relationship with them that I know I could never have otherwise. It's a great feeling to be able to pray and know that He hears you and answers your prayers. I have had my struggles in life, sure. Everybody does. I have had times when I wasn't sure that God really cared or he wasn't there for me. Then when I started doing the things I should have been doing in the first place; reading my scriptures, praying, striving to be like him, everything got better. I know that this is His church and I love it more than anything. I love Him and I love his work.

How I live my faith

I've been active in the church all my life and I love it. There really is nothing like it. The feelings I get from living the gospel and doing what I know is right is surreal. I grew up in the scouting program and I am proud to say that I am a certified Eagle Scout. Scouting is a great way for me to live my faith. The principles you follow go so hand-in-hand with being a Mormon that it really makes it easy. Being a member of my church I have held positions of leadership since I was only 12 years old and I have learned so much about life and what it means to love others and to be a better person for myself and for the benefit of those around me as well.
