Hi I'm Lance

I grew up in Wisconsin. I'm the youngest of 7 kids, 5 older sisters and 1 older brother. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am currently a student in college and am studying to be an engineer. I've played soccer since I was a little kid and I am currently on an intramural team in school. I was in Boy Scouts growing up and I love camping and doing almost anything outside. I play the trumpet and enjoyed playing in my high school marching and pep band.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and I need to follow him in all that I do. I know that it is only through his love and mercy that we can return and live with our Father in Heaven again. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's Church on the earth today and we are led by a living prophet called of God. This is the same church that Christ established when he ministered on this Earth and it was restored to the Earth by Joseph Smith. I know that by the power of God, Joseph Smith was able to translate the Book of Mormon. I know the Book of Mormon is true. I have read it and prayed for a confirmation of it's truth and the Holy Ghost has born witness that it is true. It is another testament of the life and mission of Jesus Christ and it teaches the correct principles we must abide by in order to be saved. Also by living these principles, I have found true happiness and joy. Even through difficult times, because of the Gospel of Christ, I have been able to feel peace and comfort. The Lord has strengthened me as I strive to live all of his commandments. I love this gospel and I know the Savior knows and loves each and everyone of us.

How I live my faith

In my ward I have helped out in various different ways. I taught 8-9 year old kids and loved the chance to work with them. Now I am part of the leadership in a group of my fellow students. I have the opportunity to visit with various members of the ward through hometeaching and serve them in any way possible. Once a month I have the opportunity to share a spiritual message with the members I teach but I also try to be involved in their lives and become close to them and establish a good relationship with them. Every Sunday I have the chance to attend church and help in the ordinance of the Sacrament.
