Hi I'm Dallin DuFort

I love acting, singing, dancing, and longboarding. I am serving the Lord in the Paraguay Asuncion North mission. I am a Mormon

About Me

I am a guy that loves the thrill of cliff jumping, the serenity of the mountains, and the beauty of the stars. I am the oldest of 8 children, which comes with a lot of responsibility but also a lot of privileges. I currently am blessed to serve as a Missionary here in the Paraguay Asuncion North mission. I love the paraguayos, Guarani, and everything else about this beautiful country. I feel honored to be able to use these 2 years of my life to serve my brothers and sisters by helping them find the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a hard job, but it is the most rewarding thing I have ever done.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and have never known anything else. But through personal experiance I know for myself that this church is true, and that is why I am doing my best to invite all that I meet to come unto Christ. I am a Mormon because I am only happy when I comply with Gods commandments and focus on serving others. I can see what happens when people do not keep these commandments, and the results are not pleasent. I love to know that if I keep working hard, that God will help me along the way, and even when I mess up He still loves me. I belong the the true church of Christ because I know that this is what makes me happy. Nothing that the world has to offer comes even close to what I have found here, and even though it was a part of my life since the beginning, I still needed to go out and decide for myself if it is what I want. I know it isbecause I asked God and he responded. And now it is my turn to help others do the same.

How I live my faith

I know that now more than ever is the time to show what it means to be a true represenative of Jesus Christ. We have taken upon ourselves that responsability when we are baptized, but as a missionary it is a whole new ideal and a whole new level. I understand that in order to be well received by the people I need to really keep in mind always what Christ would do in my place. It is so fun to just be out there in the streets talking with people, finding out what they need, and trying to help. I do my best to live my faith through how I act when I am away from the public eye. I know that private virtue comes before public virtue, and it is really important to be on top of things 100% of the time! I read the scriptures every single day, and I can feel their power penetrating my life and becoming a well beloved tool during the daytime hours. I love to take the stories in the scriptures and apply them to my life right now, but now more than ever the missionary stories of the Book of Mormon really hit home. I am learning and growing every day, and I do my best to return and report to my Father in Heaven at the end of every day and review how things went, celebrate the things that went well, and ask forgivness for where i messed up. I know that by doing this i will be able to contually improve, and that I will be able to be a better servant of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
