Hi I'm Shad Whaley

Born In Logan, Utah. Moved to Sugar City, Idaho at the age of 12. I like sports and outdoors and being with friends.

About Me

I was born and partly raised in Logan, Utah and at the age of 12 I moved to Sugar City, Idaho and love it here. I'm the person that likes to be outdoors hiking, camping, outdoor activities. In High school I played football and tennis and love both of them. I also like sports and activities such as snow boarding, wake boarding, rugby, basketball, hiking, camping, and just beeing outdoors! I also enjoy Spending time with Friends, Family and Girls! I am currently serving a mission in the San Jose, California mission. And after coming back I will be attending Utah State University, and go into mechanical engineering. And I wear size 17 Shoes! I also enjoy just having fun and being a goof ball!

Why I am a Mormon

Probably the reason im a Mormon is I was born in the church and so at young age I started to learn about the gospel. And so by learning more about the gospel I started to pray to know if it was true and read the scriptures to find answers to the truth. And I received a conformation from the Holy Ghost that this was the true gospel. And so I continued to go to church and follow Gods commandments by being baptized, obtaining the priesthood and serving a full time mission. And have noticed the blessings and joy in my life from the gospel and so i want to continue to have that as I get older. And have gained a strong testimony of this gospel and I am so gratefull for the blessing the gospel brings, and for a living prophet to help lead and guide us in these days. I also know that through the prophet Joseph Smith, that the fullness Christ gospel was restored and that by following Gods commandments we can be forgiven of our wrong doings and be able to have the chance to live with him again! And that the Book of Mormon is another testiment from Christ to give us directions in these latter days!

How I live my faith

How I live my faith is probably by fullfilling my callings like being a Primary Teacher, or Deacons and Teachers president in my ward. I also look for ways to serve people in my community. And do what is right in tougher situations and being the example. Another way I live my faith is to be willing and worthy to serve a full time mission for the Lord. And spreading the joy the gospel has given me in my life to others in San Jose, California on my mission.
