Hi I'm Jocelyn Jones

I grew up in a family full of adventure. I believe laughter is the best medicine. I love sports. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Before my mission I went to BYU and had the time of my life! There’s nothing like a bunch of people getting together and having some good, clean, fun! (water balloon stake outs, mud fights, prank wars, rope swings, you name it) I love to do anything that is full of fun and guaranteed to have you laughing til you cry. Sometimes I get off on tangents and tell random stories and when all is said and done, I have the shortest attention span in the world. I love to travel, especially for humanitarian trips, I’m always hungry, and I love to be active: sports, camping, four wheeling, skiing, you name it. The times I get to spend with my family on vacation are some of my most precious moments and I am so glad I get to be with them forever! They are my biggest treasure!

Why I am a Mormon

The reason that I am a Mormon is because I have found out for myself that it is true. I searched the Book of Mormon, I studied it out, I prayed, and I received a witness from the Holy Ghost that this church is true. The gospel makes me happy and has blessed my life in unimaginable ways. I know that there are so many blessings in store for my family and I want to live worthy of those promises.

How I live my faith

My family has always been a huge proponent of service and missionary work. So, from the very beginning, I developed a love and testimony of both. I have always wanted to serve a mission. I knew it was what I was supposed to do and what I was going to do. So, here I am, in beautiful Kirtland Ohio! I love helping others come unto Christ, seeing that change of heart, and that awareness of our Heavenly Father. I know he is there and that he loves us. There are trials I have had to overcome and I was able to do so through my belief in Christ. I live my faith by taking the questions I have to the Lord and leaving them in his hands, trusting that he knows what is best and it is in his timing. Surrounding myself with uplifting music, friends, and media is one of the most important things I do in my life to keep my faith strong. Living my faith is not always easy but it is always worth it.
