Hi I'm Gracie

I was grew up in Vista, California. I want to go to hair school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Vista, California. I lived 15 minutes from the beach and loved it. In high school, I played waterpolo and swam on the swim team. My family loves the lake. So much, that my parents moved 10 hours north of Vista, to Auburn, CA, so that they could live on a lake. I grew up wakeboarding and tubing behind a boat. I love the water, but I hate being cold. After I graduated high school, I went to school at Brigham Young Unviersity. After my husband and I both graduated, we moved down to Cypress. I couldn't wait to get out of the cold and the snow! :) We have a 5-month-old daughter, Kyrie. She is the light of our lives and keeps us laughing and entertained for hours. One day, I hope to go to hair school- maybe once my kids are in school!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who are Mormon. They raised me in the church and taught me Mormon beliefs from a young age. In middle school and high school, I began to really look at the church and its teachings. I felt a love for the gospel and the Book of Mormon. When I was young, I lived off my parents' testimonies that the Mormon church was true. As I grew older, I gained my own testimony of the church and especially of the Book of Mormon. I know this book is true, that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, and that we have a prophet on the earth today. I believe that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If he talked to prophets of old, like Moses and Abraham, I believe that he talks to prophets today, and will continue to lead us through a prophet in the future. I love being Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through serving those in my church who are in need. In the last couple months, we've had a number of women who have just had their first child. I helped line up meals so that we could help these women transition into their new role of 'mother.' I also live my faith just through my everyday actions. My faith is what drives me and molds my character.
