Hi I'm Erica

I love to play softball. I am a nurse. I love to smile. I am a Mormon!

About Me

Hi, my name is Erica. I am the oldest kid in my family and I am in college studying to be a Nurse. Nursing school keeps me pretty busy, but when I have free time I love to spend it in the outdoors. I love to go hiking, camping, boating, biking, skiing, horseback riding, etc. I especially like to do these activities with my both my immediate and extended family members. I love to play all kinds of sports, but my favorites are softball and volleyball.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be a Mormon because I have I had several experiences throughout my life where the Holy Ghost has born witness to me that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. The Holy Ghost makes me feel peace, comfort, and joy in my heart. I love and know the principles and teachings of the Gospel are true. The Gospel gives me hope in the future and motivation to do good in my life. One of the blessings of being a member this Church means that I can be with my family forever. There is life after death and I will be with loved ones after this earth life. I love my family and just can’t imagine my life without them. I can be with them for eternity. It’s hard to describe my love for each family member, and so I can only imagine how much more God loves each one of us. I know that God loves everyone as individuals and He wants us to make good choices in this life, so we can be with Him in the life to come.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by making good decisions throughout each day. I live my faith by thinking of ways that I can serve others around me, just like Jesus Christ would do if he was on the earth today. I find that when I go out of my way to help someone else, it not only benefits that person that I am helping, but it makes me feel good inside too. That is why I participate in church events and activities. I do the very best I can to fulfill assignments and callings that I have been given, even when they are out of my comfort zone. I have chosen to serve a mission, where I will leave my home, family, and college career for 18 months to teach others about the gospel and invite them to come unto Jesus Christ. I am doing this because the Gospel means everything to me! The Gospel is the whole point and purpose of life!
