Hi I'm Lacey

I'm a Musician.I Love doing service. I'm a Morman.

About Me

I love to play saxophone in the band. I believe that the best way of expressing yourself is through music. When i was growing up, my parents taught me that through service, anything is possible. I have had many life experiences through the band, I discovered who i am and what i believe in.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with the gospel, but there comes a time in life when you need to discover "who you are". I made a list of what I wanted to be,a list of things society wanted me to become, and a list of things the LDS church wanted me to become. i sat down in a place i found myself most comfortable to me and a place i felt like i could be myself. The band room. i sat down with the lists and started to go over the lists. As it turns out, the list of things i wanted to become and the things the LDS church wanted me to become were mostly the same things. At that moment, I knew that I was raised on the right faith. It was that moment that I knew that I will become: a missionary, a band director and most importantly, a mother. As I have learned and grown as a Latter Day Saint, I have only been reassured of my decisions of what I will become. Through thoughts and prayers, I now know for a fact that being a Latter Day Saint is one of the best decisions I have ever made.

How I live my faith

I participate in the youth Personal Program, witch teaches girls ages twelve through eighteen about what they are capable of doing and helps the girls discover who they are and their confidence. i love doing service and I know , through the willingness that we posses to do little acts of service decide who we are.
