Hi I'm Dallin

I'm a teenager, I'm a missionary, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an 18 year-old recently called to serve in the Seattle Washington mission. I just graduated high school, and I am setting aside the entirety of my next two years to serve the Lord in Seattle.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church, but that doesn't mean I automatically believed everything I was told. I haven't ever had that "AH" moment of epiphany that some converts share. Not everybody has that moment though, but recently I've been wanting complete confirmation more and more. I've been wanting to know for myself that what I tell myself I know to be true, is true, because I know it is, not because my parents or leaders or friends or bishop say it is. As I was working towards this, I realized that for a while now, I have known for myself. I just didn't realize it. Every prayer I said was proof that I knew, because I never prayed hesitantly, saying, "God, IF you're there..." I know now that the only explanation for Joseph Smith's First Vision and his translation of the plates is that they actually happened. He was indeed a prophet called by God, and through His power, he dedicated and gave his life for this work. Jesus Christ is our Savior and the head of this church. He continues to guide us through living prophets and will do so until his glorious return. God loves each of us and hears our prayers.

How I live my faith

I try to be the best person I can at school, at home, and when I'm alone. I'm not the best person in the world, but all that one can do is try their best.
