Hi I'm Elle

I love to read, play the piano, and spend time with my family. I taught the gospel in Hong Kong. I am newly married. I'm a Mormon

About Me

My parents raised me in this church, and I couldn't be more grateful. I am the oldest of six children. I served a church mission in Hong Kong speaking Mandarin for 18 months out of my young adult life. During that time, I taught people the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and did service for the community I was in. Since then, I have received an Associates degree, and have been married and sealed for time and all eternity (yes, all eternity). Being married and sealed in the temple of the Lord can do that. I love spending time with my husband. We have been married for less than one year. Currently, I am a private piano instructor, while my husband has a full time job and is going to school. Our lives are pretty busy at times, but we always put the Lord first. He is the reason we are so happy. I'm not saying our lives are perfect all the time, but He definitely helps us through the trials.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents raised me in the Mormon church. But, I gained my own testimony of the church while I was in the youth program of the church. I choose to be a Mormon because of the blessings I have recieved since I have joined the church. I also want to live with my family, current and future, forever. I know that we can do that by following Christ's example and living His gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every week, and by striving to live the Lord's standards every day. I serve in my local congregation by playing the piano, and teaching the youth every once in a while.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Elle
A testimony is simply stating what you know to be true that you have felt through the power of the Holy Ghost. A testimony is gained through diligent study of the scriptures, and living what God has set for us to live by. Show more Show less
