Hi I'm Amanda

Sister Missionary in Scotland, I love strawberries. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

A Utahn girl who loves to get out and do :) I graduated high school with my associates in Science and attended University for some mind-stretching exploration. They changed the mission age so I completed the paperwork in a week, received the call, left May 1st to the England MTC and then on to the Scotland/Ireland mission :) Been out now for 7 months!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised into the LDS church. Although it may seem this means I am automatically of the 'Mormon' faith, but that isn't true. Everyone goes through their own conversion stages. I was blessed to have parents who are very strong in the gospel who were able to show me truth and love me even if I make mistakes. Personal searching, experiences from obedience, and the examples shown to me are why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

My faith isn't just a way of living, it is life! :) I live it by fufilling the callings given to me. I've held a few leadership positions for my Young Women groups growing up. In Uni I was in charge of a few dorm rooms of male and female students for fun and spiritually uplifing activities on Monday nights. Commonly known as Family Home Evening - FHE. Before I left on my mission I was given the calling to be a teacher for the sunday senior primary class called Valiant 9. It is a group of (at most) 12 kids who are ages 9-10 :) They are a great bunch of kids and always willing to listen to the lesson. Getting them involved with games that are related to the lesson always helped them understand what was being taught :) We have this cool ability to choose. Choose to be happy and uplift those around you :)
