Hi I'm James

I'm half Korean, half American. I grew up in Utah. I'm a twin. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love making movies. When I was young I would fiddle around with my brother's camera phone and make little 10 sec. stop motions. Then I eventually got my own camera and made lots of little movies about secret agents, super powers, robots, and really anything that came to me. Now I'm still an amateur but I love it. My twin and I make all kinds of short films. Even if I never really make a truly good film I'll have lots of silly movies to watch with my kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up in the Church my entire life. But that is not why I'm still in it. Many think being raised in the Church is sort of like being forced or brainwashed to believe. That is not the case. With all that are raised in the Church there comes a time when your friend's faith and parent's faith don't sustain your own. There comes a time when we all need to know for ourselves. That's exactly what I did. I prayed and read the scriptures with the intent to feel the spirit. Then it came, and I knew. I could feel the Lord's love through the spirit. I knew Christ lives and he died more me. I simply knew and still know that the Gospel is true.

How I live my faith

I'm very fortunate to live by so many temples. So I try to go weekly and invite as many as I can. When I go to the temple life makes sense and I'm able to better stay on that path that leads to happiness. And by happiness I mean the feeling that comes from choosing good over evil, service over laziness, Christ over Satan.
