Hi I'm Kyle

I'm from Idaho, I've seen a lot of potatoes, I'm a adopted, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi I'm Kyle, and I love being outside. I grew up in a small little town in Idaho with lots of cows and potatoes. I love anything that has to do with friends and I love having fun. Also one interesting thing is I'm adopted and half Pakistani but I was raised in the greatest family ever. I love playing golf but am terrible at it. I also love hiking but seem to get lost real easily. I was Student Body President, which isn't saying much since I graduated with only 37 people. I went to Utah State University for a semester and am planning on obtaining a degree in biochemistry. I cut my schooling short to go on a two year Mormon mission to Nashville, Tennessee. I love helping others and making people happy. My friends used to call me smiley Kylee because I can never stop smiling. I love life and live every second Heavenly Father gives me to the fullest.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I love it. My parents grew up in the church their whole lives and so did I but I still think of myself as a convert. I was very blessed to be adopted into a family that showed me and taught me about Christ. Although my family taught me these things, my faith and love of Jesus Christ came to me from a Heavenly influence, even the Holy Spirit itself. I am a convert because I never did gain a testimony of the divinity of Jesus Christ and His church until my late teenage years. I am a Mormon because I know that this church is Jesus Christ's; I know that because of what the Holy Spirit has born witness to me. I know that Heavenly Father loves us. I know that Jesus Christ is my personal Savior and Redeemer, as well as everyone else's. I live and follow the gospel because of the peace and happiness it brings me and those around me.

How I live my faith

I live by faith by trying my best to do as a scripture in the Book of Mormon instructs: "Therefore, all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them" -3rd Nephi 14:12 In everything I do I try to treat and help people as I would want to be treated. It's the golden rule and I love it! Yes, I am serving a 24 month full-time mission, but I think the greatest example for me of living the Mormon faith is by trying to serve and love people just as much as the Savior Jesus Christ did. This is how I live my faith.
