Hi I'm Dayna

I grew up in Reno, met my sweetheart at BYU, and love living in Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After 30 years of secretarial work, I finally retired. Yay! I love traveling and spending time with our grandchildren. Scrapbooking is my hobby. We are looking forward to a mission and sharing the gospel with other.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member of Christ's church, but my testimony has grown through the years. When I was young I just participated because that was what my parent's wanted me to do. I gained my own testimony by reading the Book of Mormon, praying sincerely, and seeking the Lord's counsel in all my doings. He has been so gracious and kind to me. As I have been preparing to go on a mission with my husband, he has bestowed so many tender mercies on me, that I can't even begin to share. I feel so good when I am doing the right things and following the commandments. When we were first married, we didn't always pay our tithing, and I felt so awful. Because of that, we didn't get to go to the temple and enjoy those blessings. We made a promise that we would always pay our tithing, and our lives have been richly blessed. I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have served in many callings in our ward. I loved working with the youth. Some of my favorite memories happened while camping with all the girls. The last night of camp is when testimonies are born and the spirit is so strong. We all hated to go home. Right now I am working with the young children of our ward as secretary. It's so fun to see the children each week, and share hugs and smiles with them.
