Hi I'm Malia

I am a Digital Media Student. I love to sing really loud when no one is listening. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My favorite thing to do is to be happy. I love to dance, play the uke, cheer on my brothers at football games and spend time with the people I love. I love having company, but I also like the quiet moments I get to myself. I am a college student and don't love homework, but I love to learn more about my major. In high school I held a lot of leadership positions and loved it. I also started the first girls rugby team in my area during my senior year. I'm not used to the snow or the cold, but I love sunshine and anything to do with water.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon, some people may feel like our lifestyle can be limiting, but I have been able to catch glimpses of the bigger picture. I love to live with high standards and values because I know of my worth to my Father in Heaven. Everyday I am given the choice to live my life anyway I choose, but everyday the answer is obvious to me. I know what my goals are, I want to live a happy life, gain an education, strengthen relationships with love, trust and responsibility. I know that I can reach all my goals by choosing to live the life Heavenly Father has blessed me with. I know that trials will come, but I also know that I will never be alone. I have the strength of the Holy Ghost with me as my constant companion and I know that I am happier when I live a life that is in tune with Gods plan for me. I want to be with my family forever, not just while on earth, and I want to serve and act in a way my Savior, Jesus Christ did years before. I know that Heavenly Father loves all his children and that through His gospel families can be forever. I love to stand tall for what I believe because of the happiness and guidance that living righteously gives me.

How I live my faith

I love to find opportunities to serve and make other people happy. I am currently helping out in a church class for about 10-12 teenage girls. I was asked to spend time with the girls and help to show them why I love to live my faith. It has been a lot of fun getting to know them, and I have been able to share personal experiences about high school challenges and the importance of standing tall as a daughter of God at all times, in all things and in all places. I live my faith in my everyday actions and in my relationships with other people.

In whom should we have faith?

Malia
Faith is an important principle and blessing that we have been given. Who we have faith in has high value. If you think of the meaning of faith it is something which is hoped for but is not seen. To have faith in someone is a lot more detailed and important. I have faith in my Savior, Jesus Christ as well as my Father in Heaven. I have faith in them because they have blessed me when I have put all my trust in their hands. It is imporant to have faith to a full extent, fully trusting and willing to go and do whatever the Lord asks. I have faith in my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ because of the love I have for them as well as the love I feel from them. This faith is a complete guide to my life and through the trials and obstacles that I go through. Show more Show less
