Hi I'm Anna

I love to laugh. I love to love. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am just an ordinary young adult attending college and trying to find out what career path I should take. I love to sing and try to share my talent as often as I possibly can. My family means the world to me and I consider all of them my best friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this truly is God's church. God has given me so much and being a part of this church helps me to recognize that more and more each day. Jesus Christ suffered and died for each and every one of us when he atoned for our sins and was hung upon the cross. The least I can do to try and repay Him is by following Him and living the way He would have me live. This is His church and I love Him and my Heavenly Father and that is why I choose to be a Mormon. And the happiest thing to this is that He is risen. Jesus Christ lives. I know it. I also know that He will come again to rule and reign and I choose to be on His side.

How I live my faith

The thing I love most about the LDS church is that no matter where you are in the world, you have a place and are needed in this church. One of the most important callings in my eyes is visiting/home teaching. With this calling you are given the opportunity to go and visit 2+ other women (as a visiting teacher) and see how they are doing and see if there is any way in which help is needed. Each individual is also assigned a pair of visiting teachers. I love this because I always know someone has need of me and also there are a couple of women in the ward who keep me in their prayers and who I know I can depend on. I am about to go and serve as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I will be dedicating every moment of my life for the next year and a half to this gospel. I am doing this so that I might bring others into this fold so that they might come to know the Savior Jesus Christ as I have been so blessed to come to know Him. I am so excited that I have this opportunity!

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

When I think about "authority" I think on an example I once heard. If you are driving on the freeway and an icecream truck comes up behind you and starts flashing it's lights, would you actually pull over? But when a police officer comes up behind you and flashes it's lights, now would you? The right authority is important because it keeps things organized and also gives credit to the rightful place, which is with God. Show more Show less
