Hi I'm Kelsey Smith

I love to smile and serve. I am a servant of the Lord. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

One thing that I love is to make others feel loved and needed in this life. That is why I am serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Before my mission I worked at a hospital in the Pediatric unit. I have always been interested in the human body and how we came to be. There is no question in my mind that we were all created by heavenly beings. Some of the things that I love to do are snowboard, Hike, and roller-skate.

Why I am a Mormon

From the time I was little I was taught the teachings of our Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. I have a long list of family before me that have been members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Even though I was raised a Mormon, I felt like I needed to find out for myself if the things that I am being taught are true. From reading the Book of Mormon and obeying the commandments I have found that I know for myself that Christ lives and is the Savior of the world. Heavenly Father sent his son Jesus Christ to come down and atone for the sins of the world. We all make mistakes and through the atonement our sins can be washed away and we can become clean again. I use the atonement in my everyday life and I know that by trying to live the way that Christ lived, I will be able to return to live with him again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving those around me. All of us are in need of love and comfort in this life. That is why I feel it is so important to look and treat everyone the way that our loving Heavenly Father would treat us. As a missionary I have the greatest opportunity to tell everyone I see how much God loves them and how they can strengthen their relationship with our Father in Heaven. How great is my joy!
