Hi I'm Wesli Peay

Prayer, just do it:)

About Me

I am 19 from the good old state of Utah. I absolutely love sports and I feel that they have been a major influence in the person I am today. Aside from sports I also love to play guitar, ski, snowboard, boat, go on hikes .... honestly anything! I graduated from high school May 2012 and started at BYU that following summer. All of these things I did along side my sister and best friend Jayci Peay. We have always been close and it feels like God knew we would be best friends so to make it easier on our parents He just put us in the same home. :) My sister and I even were sent here to Taiwan together to serve as missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons). Being a missionary is fabulous.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of this church since birth so honestly I did whatever my parents wanted me to until about the age of 16. When I turned 16 my parents started giving me more opportunities to choose what I wanted to do rather than telling me I had to go to church. This gave me the opportunity to try and test my faith in following God's commandments. Through following His commandments I found that I had peace and happiness. The more I study the Book of Mormon, say my prayers, and get to know my Savior the more I realize that I love God and I want to follow Him. The world is a big giant puzzel of religions....I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has all the pieces. I have faith that all these pieces put together can give me and my family eternal happiness. Eternal happiness with all my loved ones sounds pretty good.

How I live my faith

I know through prayer and faith in God anything is possible I believe that Jesus Christ provided a way for us to return back and live with our loving Heavenly Father. I think it is very good to believe these things....but it is even better to LIVE these things. Pray, read the word of God, and expect answers to prayers! Through living our lives in a way that would make our Father in Heaven happy (and everyday remembering the sacrifice of our Savior Jesus Chirst for us) we can ALWAYS have happiness and peace. Everyday I try to remember the many blessings I have been given and be grateful for all I have; it isn't that hard to be grateful when you look for the beauty around you! With my faith as my foundation I can always go forward with faith and hope in the good things in life.
