Hi I'm Jessica Birch

I'm English born and serving in the Greece Athens Mission. I am a modest fashion blogger and I love adventures and photography.

About Me

I'm Jessica and I love hilarious moments and adventures. Every day has to bring smiles and laughter. I love dancing in the kitchen with my brother or going and walks, talking to my sister - knowing I can be with my family for eternity gives me so much joy. My dream is photography and I pick up projects for my friends and help them with advertising and fashion photography, which I loveeee. I studied this at A Level and miss it loads! On the side, I have a fashion blog, encouraging a fashionable and modest dress sense. Other passions of mine include sailing, reading, cooking brownies and midnight walks on the beach! I'm currently on a mission in Greece Athens and loving every day. Before my mission I worked full time and I wasn't planning to serve at all. A school friend of mine got baptized after 6 years of knowing parts of the gospel, and as she dated a returned missionary, she started to become interested in the gospel. As she was taught, I felt the spirit so strong and it gave me an indescribable feeling of joy. It drove me to put in my mission papers so I could help others find the happiness that my friend did. I am so glad I am here and I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve. Right before I came out, I was blessed to see my school friend get sealed to her husband. The best feeling ever!

Why I am a Mormon

I asked for myself it was true. When I was I was 16 I was blessed with a fantastic Seminary teacher. As we learnt about the Book of Mormon, he bought the scriptures to light and I understood them more than I had ever before. When we got to the last chapter of the Book of Mormon, we each went into our own room in the chapel and knelt and prayed for an answer to see if the book spoke truth. And I got my own person answer that it was, and everything else fits in like a puzzle and makes sense. I love the gospel! It brings me so much happiness and joy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by action, words are never enough. I strive to stay in tune with the Spirit so I can have a constant companion wherever I go, this helps me to make the right decisions and receive great blessings. I am currently a full time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I want to teach and serve all those around me.
