Hi I'm Christian

I grew up in Eugene Oregon. I plan to serve a mission in Curitiba Brazil. I am a Mormon

About Me

Hey there, My name is Christian! Thanks for coming to look at my profile! I am a guy that enjoys simple things. Don't let that scare you off though, I am not a boring person, at least in my opinion. First and foremost I am a fitness fanatic. I exercise six days a week, I eat as healthy as possible, and I am constantly reading about fitness. I hope this doesn't give you the impression that I am a snob right off the bat, but i firmly believe that our bodies are an incredible gift, and if we take care of them, we will be blessed. I am an avid guitar player. I can't help but pick up a guitar if I walk by it. I have been playing for probably around five years. It is a great way to get anything off my mind. There isn't a whole lot that set's me apart from most people, except maybe the fact that I am 6'4. I enjoy playing pool, cooking, Superman, spending time with the people I love, and doing things that make me happy.

Why I am a Mormon

The simplest answer I could give is that I was born into the Church. Both my parents are members. But, this answer really doesn't cut it for me, seeing as the Church has blessed my life in incredible ways. I know myself well enough to know that if it weren't for my beliefs, I would be a very different person. Through the Church I have been the recipient of incredible love. The amazing people that i have befriended have blessed my life in so many ways. The example of the members and the principles of this Gospel have laid the foundation of my life. I am eternally grateful for the teachings of the Church, and the stalwart members of it. I have found great happiness because of my testimony. I can't wait to share the happiness I have found with the people of Brazil.

How I live my faith

Living your faith can be as simple as you want it to be. I don't think there is any one way that someone lives their faith. It could be as simple as not being mean to others, or as inspiring as serving a mission trip. I live my faith by always trying to live my life in a way that would make my Savior proud of me. I will be the first one to tell you that I don't always succeed, but I take comfort in the fact that my Savior loves me no matter what. I try to treat other with kindness. I don't use foul language around my friends. I abstain from drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. In my congregation I teach a class of 8-9 year old children. I teach them about Jesus Christ and the scriptures. It is a joy to me to teach these children. Children are so full of God's love that they end up teaching ME. There is so much we can learn from a little Child. The biggest way I plan to live my faith is by serving a two year mission. I have been called to the Brazil, Curitiba mission, and I could not be more excited to serve. God has called me, and it is up to me to answer the call.
