Hi I'm Natalia

I love singing, playing piano and guitar, drawing, reading, being outdoors, meeting new people...I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am 22 years old, the 2nd of 4 children in my family. I graduated from Brigham Young University Hawaii in Social Work and Peacebuilding, and would love to work in a hospital using music therapy to help children. I have been playing the piano, singing, and dancing since age 3, and continue striving to develop these talents. One of my goals is to be fluent in at least 5 languages, and travel the world doing service. I absolutely love learning new things, and creating things with my hands. I have never been shy, and love meeting new people everywhere I go. If I could, I would live in a tent - camping around the world. I love being outdoors anytime of day or year...hiking, swimming, wakeboarding, snowboarding, sledding, snowmobiling...ANYTHING! :) I love being social, but have also been very independent and like spending time alone. I believe everything happens for a reason. I love my family with all my heart, they are my best friends!

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has helped me figure out who I am, and why I am here on Earth today. Being taught from a young age that I am truly a child of a loving father in heaven has given me strength in times of disappointment and trial, and faith that God really does have a specific plan just for me. I know this church is the only true church on the earth today, that it is through the Atoning sacrifice of our loving savior, redeemer, and brother, Jesus Christ that we are able to be forgiven of our sins and return to live with our Heavenly Father. I know Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God, that he restored the gospel to its fulness, and I am so grateful to have the Book of Mormon as another testament of Jesus Christ to help guide me as I read and study each day. I know Thomas S. Monson is called of God as our loving prophet today; and if we follow his counsel and teaching, we will be blessed and protected. I know that I will be together with my family for time and all eternity through the blessings of the temple. Even though times get hard and it seems like nobody understands, I know there is one who does. I know the power of prayer is real, that if we ask in faith, we will have greater understanding of all things. I know everything happens for a reason, that if we let go and trust God in all things...He will lead and guide us to more happiness than we could ever imagine.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed with several opportunities to serve those around me and my community/ward family wherever I have lived. I was able to teach the women in my student ward in Hawaii for a year and a half, teach music to the children in my home ward primary, and continually try and share my musical abilities whenever possible. I try to search for someone each day in need of my help in any way...serving others is what brings me the most joy.
