Hi I'm Trenton

I love skiing, singing, and learning. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the fifth of six children. It's a little sad that I only just realized how cool my family is as I am now gone from them for two years serving as a full-time missionary in Brazil. But that's okay because I am teaching and serving others, sharing what brings me and my family the most joy. I greatly enjoy learning about most anything. I love singing and music, writing poetry, and enjoy skiing and playing other sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon church. I suppose I just allowed myself to progress in the church and did it a lot out of the desire to please my parents- at least until recently. I now do it for myself and for my God. I now know he is there and wants what is good for me. Though he may let me go through hard times, he does it because he knows I will be bettered because if it. Even so, he is there, ever watching, ever guiding me. I took my church for granted, but only now do I recognized the profound effect for good it has had on me and my life.

How I live my faith

I strive to be an example of the believers. I know I am not perfect- only one person ever has been, but that is no excuse not to do the best I can. I want to show- not just say- that I have accepted him as my Savior. I went through times when I know I wasn't being who I could have been, but I lifted by others who cared. It is now my turn to do what I can to help others on our quest for perfection in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
