Hi I'm Jeremy

I'm a husband and a father of 3. I'm currently an MBA student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of 2 boys and a girl. I am currently a student getting my MBA. I grew up camping and spending time outdoors and I love to play sports. My favorite thing to do now is to spend time with my wife and kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of this church and I can't really remember a time when I didn't know it was true. When I was young, I just assumed that what my parents were telling me was true, just as I assumed they knew what the color red was or what number came after 10. When I was a teenager and stopped taking everything my parents said as absolute truth I wanted to know for myself it this church was true. I knew that it was all true or it was all false. This church does not change to fit with the fads or try to fit into what people want to hear, the claims that it makes are quite extreme. I gained an assurance that this is the true church by reading the Book of Mormon. I read it and I prayed to know if it was true. I received an answer by the way I felt. I had a warm feeling of peace. A calm assurance that the book was from God. Joseph Smith translated the book and this is the church that God had him establish. My faith and testimony of the truth of this gospel has only grown since that time. I know this church is true because of its fruits. (Matthew 7:15-20) The more I follow the teachings the happier I am. I know who I am and this gives me great peace and direction in my life. The more I learn the more I know that God is real and that he loves all of us more than we can imagine. He wants us to be happy and that is why he has given us the gospel of Jesus Christ, to teach us how to be happy.

How I live my faith

I am a leader in my local congregation and I enjoy the feeling I get when I am able to serve others. It is amazing how the church is so similar wherever we go. We have had the opportunity to live all over the US and the people are all different, but the spirit in the church is the same. It is wonderful to have a place that feels like home no matter where we live.
