Hi I'm Victor Noble

I grew up in Kuna Idaho in a family of 8 children on a farm. I am a high school Agriculture teacher. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was raised on a farm with my 7 other brothers and sisters. I served a mission in Dallas Texas for 2 years and then returned to college for 4 years before I got my teaching degree in Agriculture Education. Other than 5 years of farming I have been teaching Agriculture for 28 years. I have been married for 33 years to my sweet wife and we have 7 children. I enjoy gardening and learning about plants and animals. I have been involved with scouting in some way for the last 25 years. I enjoy camping and outings with my children and scouts. A few years ago our children had all returned for Christmas and they wanted to go to the hills to get a tree. We no longer fit in one vehicle now that many are married so I rented a school bus and we whet to get a tree in it. At first the kids thought it would be not cool but afterwards they all thought it was cool because we all got to be together rather than take several vehicles. Six of our 7 children served missions for the church with our youngest now on his mission in Australia. Five of our children are married in the temple and are starting their own families. All have left home our state and so we get to go travel and see them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe it is the Church of Jesus Christ. The gospel of Jesus Christ restored in it's fulness in our times. I grew up with a mother who was an active member of the Church and a father who was not. We either attended church with mother or we stayed home with dad and worked on the farm. I tried both but mostly preferred going to church on Sundays. When I went to college I had to decide for myself if I would attend church and did not for a time. It was during this time that I thought over my feelings about the church and the gospel and realized through prayer and dreams that it was true and I should be a part of it and it should be an important part of my life. I returned to full activity and made preparations to serve a mission. I have studied the scripture much and as I have lived the principles of the gospel I have come to know that God lives. That Jesus is the Christ and our Redeemer. That Joseph Smith saw God the Father and Jesus Christ. That our Heavenly Father restored all the truths of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I know that the Authority of God, the priesthood, was given to Joseph Smith and that the priesthood has continued since that time. Our Heavenly Father loves us just as much as he did the people of Bible times and because of that love has given us modern prophets to guide us and tell us what our father wants us to do as he did anciently. The Prophet today is Thomas S. Monson.

How I live my faith

As I said I am a teacher of Agriculture. I really love agriculture because it is so much about growing things and new life. Our Heavenly Father grows lots of things too. Beside my family my life evolves around my work and working with high school students. I try to set a good example for them as many do not have good role models in their lives. I also encourage my wife as she is finishing her college degree not that she has raised our children. All of our children have achieved at least a bachelors degree and they thought it was her turn to do the same.
