Hi I'm Erin Elmont

I grew up in Mapleton, Utah. I work as a CNA, taking care of the elderly. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Utah, I am the fourth of eight children. I love gymnastics and to dance, I was a cheerleader in High School. I also enjoy music, camping, sports, and board/card games! I am 19 years-old and have decided that I want to serve an LDS mission. I have been called to the Uruguay, Montevideo mission, Spanish speaking. I report to the Argentina MTC (Missionary Training Center) on Thursday, April 11th! I could not be more excited! At the moment while I wait to leave in April on my mission, I am working as a CNA, caring for elderly people. Helping them get dressed, showered, and ready for the day. I find my job really rewarding. I'm so grateful I have a job that allows me to serve. As for school, I have not enrolled yet, but when i return from my mission I plan on going into Nursing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS church, but that is not why i am a member of the Mormon church. I am a member because I want to be, because I believe in the doctrines and principals it teaches, and I've seen the blessings that have come into my life from being obedient to this gospel. I feel the happiest i can be when i am living the standards of the gospel. I believe in God the Eternal Father, and in his son Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost. I believe that I am a literal daughter of God and that he is my Heavenly Father. I know that he loves me and knows me personally, and that he knows and loves each one of his children here on Earth. I love this church with all my heart, and love sharing its happy message with others.

How I live my faith

I am a Relief Society teacher, I teach women my age and older the doctrines of the gospel. I am also a visiting teacher, I go to the homes of women in the church teaching short lessons and visiting with them.
