Hi I'm Jason Ryan Garcia

I'm a husband, a Sun Devil, a Management Consultant, and a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Jason Garcia. I am happily married to the most amazing woman in the world, Anyha. My life has been filled with amazing experiences all over the world. Faith is a large part of who I am and I served a voluntary 2-year religious mission for my church in Hungary. I am a fan of eclectic music, tech, and almost anything Hungarian. Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing is my weapon of choice and I enjoy an active lifestyle with much of my fitness involving HIIT. Since childhood I have been heavily involved in the Boy Scouts of America Organization and obtained the rank of Eagle Scout. Currently I sit on the Boy Scout Committee in my area as the Advancement Chairman. I completed my undergraduate studies at The WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. The professional organizations that I am involved with are ALPFA, IMA, ACFE, and the AICPA. I am an alumnus of the KPMG FDL Program, Discover EY program, and the AICPA Accounting Scholars Leadership Workshop. I have worked for a variety of companies, including Arizona State University as a Project Manager, American Family Insurance as an Insurance Agent, and Oncam in a Business Development role. I now work for KPMG as a Management Consultant. I'm a husband, a Sun Devil, a Management Consultant, and a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

While I enjoy learning anything and everything that I can, there is nothing more rewarding than understanding our Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. The intelligence and perspective that the gospel gives us as we study the teachings of the creator are essential to being successful in this life. We are able to know what we need to accomplish and receive guidance on the steps we must take to reach our goals. There are many that claim to have the true word of God or truth but how can we know which is true? Almost every religion has claims and justification of claims for their beliefs. I studied many religions and saw value in each religion but there is one essential piece to knowing which source is from God and that is God himself. We have the ability to ask God, our Heavenly Father, questions in prayer. He will answer us if we believe that he will answer us and have the determination to live according to the answer that we receive. I have experienced this and know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is God's church and that its leader is the mouthpiece of God on earth. If we follow the teachings that we are given through this organization, we are able to grow and progress above that we can comprehend. Peace and comfort come from the obedience to the laws that our Heavenly Father has given us. I hope that each person has the opportunity to experience the amazing event of our Heavenly Father answering their prayer.

How I live my faith

In my congregation I have the responsibility to help the youth. In my role, I help assist them in participating in wholesome activities that challenge them and help them understand the meaning of righteous accomplishments. Outside of this responsibility, I am active in sharing my testimony and understanding of the gospel with those around me at church. During our meetings, we study the scriptures and discuss topics of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I enjoy speaking about the teachings of our savior Jesus Christ and the blessings that it can bring into our lives.
