Hi I'm Nicole Andersen

I was born in Colorado but grew up in Utah. I've lost a lot and in turn have learned to love more. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Nicole, I am 18 years old and live in the United States. I absolutely adore anything outdoors! I'm a natureholic you could say; I love exploring, hiking, swimming and even running outside. Along with that I am an animal lover. Currently I am studying to be a veterinarian, which happens to be a long hard road but I'm staying positive and pushing myself. I am very friendly and compassionate towards all things. It's hard to put who I am into a little paragraph, but that gives you an idea!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS church, so I cannot say I know much about not being in it. Around the age of 16 I did fall away though. I had a lot of unanswered questions and curiosities. I had begun to question the existence of a God, because I had seen so much pain and suffering in the world around me. I used to wonder why a loving God would put amazing people through awful amounts of darkness. As time passed I was put through my own trials and eventually realized that without the bad in my life I could not feel the happiness either. I now know that God gives us trials and confusion so we may have happiness and life. This past year my father passed away from Cancer, and that is another main reason I am a Mormon. Through our beliefs I can know 100% that I may not only see my father again but dwell with him. Believing in this has been my rock throughout my life, and that is why I am Mormon. In my heart I know it is true, because it brings me so much happiness and if it is happy or good it has to come from God Himself.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many ways. When I think about I should be doing much more to really "live my faith". I attend church every Sunday and participate in any activities I can. Serving others is a huge way I am able to live my faith. It doesn't matter who i am serving, but I do try and attempt one act of loving service once a week. That way I may bring happiness to others while lifting myself up with them.
