Hi I'm Kendra

I'm a student, I love going to musicals, hanging out with friends, and spending time with family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am typical young adult, going to college, hanging out with friends, and loving life! I love anything related to music and dance! I am the third of five children, and love spending time with family. It doesn't really matter what we are doing, but we just have fun with each other.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been born and raised into a family that was Mormon. My parents have raised me in good home and taught me according to Mormon principles. I chose to be baptized in this church when I was 8 because I felt like that was the right thing to do. Although I have been born into a Mormon home, and taught Mormon principles by my parents, I had gain my own testimony and find out for myself that this is what God wanted me to do. By trying to live by the gospel principles everyday, I have seen the blessings in my life and have gained a knowledge for myself that this is what God wants me to do. I have never had one defining moment in my life when I knew that this was the right thing to do, but I have had little reassurances along the way that this is the right path. Being Mormon has helped me to know who I am, a child of God. It has helped me to know that I am loved by my Father in Heaven and by Jesus Christ. Being Mormon makes me happy! I am happy when I serve others and when I following the teachings of the prophets. It doesn't mean that I have a life without difficulties or trials, but I know that need I can rely on my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ to give me strength to grow through trials. I am a Mormon. I know it, I live it, I love it!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every week and learning more about Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. As I learn more about them, I try to replicate the way the lived in my own life. I currently hold a calling in my ward as a visiting teaching supervisor. I visit some of the women in the ward on a monthly basis. I and make sure the other women are getting visited as well. Not only do I try to make a monthly visit to these women, more importantly I try to watch out for them, to make sure everything is going well in their life, give service to them, and be a friend! I also live my faith by attending the temple each week, and doing ordinances for those who did not have that chance in this life. I feel at peace in the temple and feel a sense of renewed strength when I leave.
