Hi I'm Taylor Heidenreich

I live in Allen, Texas. I love to play basketball, and I enjoy singing in my schools varsity choir. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of 5 kids. I have one brother and three sisters. I love to play sports! Basketball is by far my favorite, but I have grown to love rugby as well. I am still learning about rugby, but it is such a blast to play! I never played on any high school teams, but just love to play in the rec leagues and with my friends. One of my passions is singing. I sang in my schools Varsity choir and have really just enjoyed singing since I was a child. My family is a very musically talented family and loves to sing together. We go caroling every year and just enjoy singing as a family. I will serving a mission in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil! I report on November 6, 2013 to the Sau Paulo MTC. I am so excited to serve the Lord and can't wait to go! I have always wanted to serve my mission as a child and it is finally here! It will be such a blast!

Why I am a Mormon

This gospel of Jesus Christ is so wonderful! I am a Mormon because I want to be as much as Christ as I can and this gospel makes me so happy! I love the fact that I can live with my family forever and be in the presence of Heavenly Father for eternity. This church has brought the good out in me and it makes me a better person. I know this church is true, and that Joseph Smith restored it. I know that the Book of Mormon is the most true book you will ever read. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the living prophet on the earth today, and he receives direct revelation from Heavenly Father. I also know that Christ atoned for our sins, and payed the price for all of us. I know that through him we can be resurrected again and live for eternity. I am so grateful for this church and am glad to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have participated in service projects in my community and I represented the LDS church at a city wide service project. It's so awesome to have people see that I am a Mormon and what I stand for. I have served in many young mens callings and loved everyone of them. I loved getting to know my fellow young men more and being able to serve them. I love going to my hometeaching families and teaching them the doctrine of this true gospel. I love getting to know the families and helping them as much as I can. I just love this gospel! I know I live my faith when my friends recognize that I am different than others. They know that I don't use curse words, they know I don't watch rated R movies, and they know of my other standards as well. I love being Mormon!
