Hi I'm Amanda

I come from the little town of Hobart. I'm a Graduate Paramedic. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Amanda. I have lived most of my life in the little town of Hobart and I love it here. I have a close relationship with all of my brothers and sisters and my parents and I love them dearly. I love helping people and I love seeing others smiling and happy. I have studied Paramedic Practice at University and loved working as a paramedic.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Latter-Day Saint family, so I grew up going to church every Sunday. That is not the reason I keep going to church though. I keep going to church because I know it's true. I have prayed and asked Heavenly Father if this church is true and He has answered my prayers with a resounding 'yes'. I have felt the Holy Ghost touch my spirit so many times and have felt peace and assurance that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me. They love me and they know me and they are willing to help me through my life. I feel their love and guidance every single day of my life. And I love them for it.

How I live my faith

At church I help to look after the little kids. I help them learn about Jesus Christ, the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I also sing with them and teach them new songs. I love being with the children and seeing their faith in Jesus Christ grow and develop. I am also going to be serving as a missionary for the church. I leave for the Philippines in May 2013 and will come home in November 2014. I am so excited to devote this time of my life to serve Jesus Christ with all my heart.
