Hi I'm Mindy

I'm a college soccer player, I love to laugh, and I have a passion for life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student-athlete in college, playing soccer and absolutely loving it. I started playing soccer when I was 7 years old and have never stopped since. I'm from Utah, but somehow ended up in the middle-of-no-where Wyoming and have been blessed with the chance to meet some of the most outstanding and spectacular people. This place has influenced my new-found love for country music, has given me my very best friends, and has shaped me into the person I am today. I am a self-taught guitar and ukulele player. I love the outdoors and being active. I am currently majoring in Exercise Science and one day plan on becoming a Chiropractor. I am now preparing to serve a mission in Nicaragua and I can hardly wait!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. The gospel gives me so much knowledge and understanding about who I am and my purpose here on this earth. I would honestly be so lost without it. Knowing that there is a Heavenly Father who loves me and wants me to be happy is the most comforting and reassuring thing I can imagine. I know that He has a plan for me and that He wants me to return to Him again. I've learned that even through the hardest times, my Savior, Jesus Christ, knows exactly what I am going through and is there to comfort me and lift me up. He wipes away my tears, He heals my broken heart, He loves me unconditionally, and He has truly become my best friend. I know that there is no way that I could have made it through my struggles without Christ. Being a Mormon helps me to know that families can be together forever, that I can be forgiven of my sins, and that when we keep the commandments we will be blessed. I am a Mormon because without it, I am not me.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my life in such a way so that those who do not know Christ, but know me, will want to know Him because they know me. I have learned that there are a lot of people out there that just need a friend. They simply need to know that God is aware of them and that He loves them. I want to be that friend. I want to help others know that they are loved and cherished. I am involved with the Compassionate Service Committee in my college branch and we are always looking for ways to serve and help those in need. I live my faith by trying to be like Christ.
