Hi I'm Karly

I was born and mostly raised in Utah. I spent each year in high school at a different school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Throughout high school I picked up many different sports and activities. I played basketball, lacrosse, I threw discus and shot-put, and I also did choir, among a few other activities. My family moved around a lot and so I got the opportunity to experience many different things and many different lifestyles. I've just finished my first semester at college, and decided to take a leave of absence so I could serve a full-time mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the feeling I have being a Mormon. I love knowing that I am not alone in this big world. I have my family (FOREVER), I have ward members, and I have God. I grew up in the church, but that's not why I continue attending. I continue going to church because I love being surrounded by people with the same standards and morals as me, and not only that, I love the feeling I get when I'm there. I continue living by the commandments because I know they are there for me to help me reach my full potential of happiness. I know that the commandments are guidelines to eternal happiness. I love being happy. I love expanding my knowledge of this church. I swear, every week at church I learn something new. I am a Mormon because I know that the Mormon church is the only true church.

How I live my faith

About 8 months ago I started attending a student ward at my college, and there I received my first calling in the church. I served as a Visiting Teacher Supervisor. My calling was to make sure that everyone was getting their visiting teaching done! In order to do that I needed to be in contact with all of the sisters in my ward. I loved it because I got to meet a lot of people through my calling.
