Hi I'm Kristen

I live in Los Angeles, California with my husband and three beautiful children.

About Me

After eight years of marriage, my husband and I decided that he should go back to school to receive his MBA. It was quite the change for our family but we are loving all the new experiences that school and a new city has to offer. I am a mom to three fun and very active little kids. They keep me on my toes and while sometimes my job can be exhausting, it is always rewarding. I love the pitter patter of their little feet, their cute voices and most of all their sweet snuggles. When I find some time to relax, I love to read, bake and work on photography.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the LDS faith. As a young adult I wanted to know for myself if what I had been taught as a child was true. I read and studied the Book of Mormon and with a lot of prayer I felt a strong confirmation that it was true. As a mother raising children in a world that can be scary, I find great solace in the knowledge that the gospel brings to me. I am able to teach my children that we are children of a loving Heavenly Father and that he has sent us here to earth to learn and to grow. Most importantly, my faith has taught me how my family can be together after this life. That is the most important thing to me. I love the values of the LDS church. I know it is important to treat others as the Savior would. I feel tremendously blessed to have a living prophet who is able to lead and guide us today. My knowledge of this gospel has brought me tremendous blessings and happiness.

How I live my faith

I am currently the leader of all the women in our ward. I help to make sure that everyone is cared for. I coordinate with other women to make sure that those who are going through hardships such as the loss of a loved one, loss of a job, illness, etc. are cared for. I try to lend a helping hand to mothers who have new babies by bringing them a meal or helping to watch their children for them. I help to organize meetings for the women during the week where we can socialize as well as learn about the teachings of Christ.
