Hi I'm Mark

I grew up in a small town in Idaho. I love to farm. I am super short. I love my Savior, and I am a Mormon

About Me

I love to farm. I have woked on a dairy, a watermelon farm, an my personal favorie a million acre ranch in northern Nevada. I love to be outside, especially in the moutains. I also love music. I sang in choir in High School. My favorite thing to do besides farm is to serve other people. I love the feelings of joy I get when I help others.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. I went to church all of my life without actuall knowing i was true until one summer when I was 17. That summer i met an amazing friend at BSA Scout Camp. She and I became best friends. Over the course of that summer I saw how much the church ment to her and how she had a love and testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ. After watching her for a time, I knew that I wanted what she wanted. Even though being raised in the church all of my life I had never prayed about it or the book of mormon to see if they were true. One day I hiked into the hills and prayed to know God was there. I can not being to describe how felt.I knew he was there. When I came to know that fact I started not just reading but studying the Book of Mormon. Camp came to a close and I went back home. About a week after I got home my uncle died. We went to California for a week for the funeral. While in Calfornia one day I was sitting in my Aunts back yard thinking about the Book Of Mormon when I decided to pray if it was true. After the pray I had a feeling that is best described as a burning in my heart that This church The Church Of Jesus Chirst Of Latter Day Saints is Gods true Church. I Can't deny that. I hope and pray that I will be able to find ways to help others find this out for themselves.

How I live my faith

I help teach the young men in our church. I also try to live my life in a way that the Savior would want me to. I try to stay envolved in my little community. As my town is only about 4000. One thing I do love is basketball. Some of the men from our church in my town actually play every Saturday and invite all to play, member or not. We welcome all.
