Hi I'm Priscilla

I'm a proud mother of three, a loving Airforce wife, and an avid maker of beaded jewlery. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of three crazy kids, my husband is an Air Force Reservist, and together we make a pretty nutty bunch. I love cooking, crafting and reading. I love spending time with my family watching movies, hiking, fishing, claming, and visiting. I look forward to our family nights and our spiritual activities. I'm continually learning new things- I love learning new things! I put myself through school and learned culinary, nursing, and some psychology. My goal is to finish psychology then maybe learn about marketing and sales. It's fair to say I have many possibilities to look forward to.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be a memeber of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints after spending many years in and out of differnt religions, trying to find one that made sense, one that did not contradict their own teachings or the scriptures, one thet gave me the relationship to my Heavenly Father that I desperately sought for. I found those key components in only a few short meetings with this churches Missionaries.I prayed about what I had learned and knew through the confirming Spirit that this was the church I was looking for.

How I live my faith

I have been a Primary teacher and am currently on the Primary board working with our little ones and helping them gain a love and understanding of Christ and how to live by his example. I love being a Visiting teacher and broadening my relationships with other woman. I enjoy using my skills and gifts to uplift others and help build up Heavenly Fathers Kingdom. Helping to coordinate or participate in events make me feel usefull in many ways; I get to meet great people, learn new things, feel the warmth and love of friends, and help teach others. There is a great reward in service.

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

Priscilla
Our church services are inspirational and the Spirit is most definately felt. Our meetings are family oriented and friendly. The meetings consist of partaking of the Sacrament, prayer and hymns. There are meetings held for our youth, for new members and visitors alike. Anyone and everyone is welcomed to attend our meetings. Show more Show less
