Hi I'm Mark

I grew up in Wisconsin as the oldest child of four. I enjoy football and wrestling. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin and grew up in a nearby town. Both my parents are Mormon so I was born into the church. Some of my hobbies are wrestling, home improvement, and playing the bass guitar. I recently graduated High School and was planning on going to college but I decided to go on a mission first. I've been called to serve in the New Mexico, Farmington mission where I will serve for two years. Once I finish my mission I will go to to college to study business management and entrepreneurship. I hope to start my own business one day.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born into the church I still had to decide for myself if it was true and if I was going to follow it's teachings. It took me a while but as I got older and I knew more and more about the gospel it became clear to me that by following the commandments my life was being blessed and God was watching out for me. I can feel the spirit which testifies to me time and time again that the church is true. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and it is the word of God, written down by prophets in ancient times, and translated by a prophet in these latter days. Joseph Smith is a true prophet and really was called of God which is why the church has survived and grown.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every week and living it's teachings as closely as I can. During high school I attended an early morning seminary class to study the scriptures before school started. Now that I am out of high school I still do home teaching, which is visiting with assigned families in my congregation once a month to share a spiritual message and assist them if they need anything. I have also been called to serve as a missionary for the next two years. I'll be serving in the Farmington, New Mexico area where I'll be teaching people about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and doing service for the communities.
