Hi I'm Camille

I'm a typical girl from Colorado. I love to do just about everything and have tried just about everything. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I go back and forth from school and home where I work to pay for school. I love to learn how to do new things. I love music and enjoy playing the piano, violin, guitar, and singing. Sports are another hobby of mine and I enjoy being active. One of my favorite things is to meet new people and get to know people well. I love to see all the amazing traits people have.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and was taught about its gospel throughout my whole life; however, I did not always believe the things it taught. Before, the stories in the Bible and Book of Mormon were just that: stories. It took a lot of little moments in my life for me to fully convert to this wonderful religion. One of these experiences was the death of a friend of mine. This death taught caused me to feel so much sorrow, because I did not understand the plan of salvation. But just when I felt like I could no longer take the sadness, I felt the comfort of my Savior so strong, as if he was in the room with me, hugging my very soul, and confirming to me of the truth of the plan of salvation. After this experience and reading the book "Believing Christ"

How I live my faith

Lately I have had the calling as a teacher. I teach once a month a love how much I learn and the hope I get from from what I might be able to teach others. It is amazing to see how the spirit can direct my lessons so that they teach both me and everyone in the classroom in just the right way. I also enjoy doing my visiting teaching every month and meeting up with these wonderful member and seeing how they are doing.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Just like it says in the Bible, we believe in following the commandment to love our Lord, God and to love our fellow men! That includes everyone! We are not a religion that secludes others, in fact, we are supposed to welcome all into our lives whether it be through church activities, having a friendly conversation, serving someone in need, and so much more! Just as I know that God loves me so much, I also know that he loves every other one of his children just as much and I hope that I, and every other member of this wonderful church takes up the many opportunities to serve all of his children.
