Hi I'm Katrina Woo

I'm from Nevada. I graduated High School in 2010, I'm a Cosmetologist, an athlete and I love learning new things. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Katrina, I love to play all kinds of sports, especially basketball and track. I was a lifeguard over the Summer while I attended Cosmetology school, and I graduate at the end of February, 2013. I got the opportunity, while at school, to participate in homeless haircuts which was a great experience! I'm a returned missionary from AZ PHX Spanish speaking and hope to attend partime student at BYU. I love acting, art, playing the piano and my guitar, country dancing and a lot of other active stuff. I love getting to know people and making new friends! I'm really friendly, funny, outgoing, active, fun and a quick learner. I have many talents and love to improve them and develop new talents. I like to gain more knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ so I can become a better person, help others to become a better person and to serve the lord! And I love everyone! :)

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all my life. I'm so blessed and glad to be a member of his church! So many blessings I can see in my life and I'm very grateful for them! I know this church is true, and couldn't be happier to know through the truthfulness of my heart that this is his restored gospel on this earth today. I got the opportunity a couple years ago, to bring a friend into this church. He was my sister's and I, track coach in High School and I got him to meet with the missionaries in my ward and after some lessons, he decided he wanted to be baptized! What I great conversion story this is! The spirit really touched his heart, and I'm so grateful to be able to share this story with others. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet and he restored the gospel and translated The Book of Mormon for us to read and learn, and be able to share it with our children and our children's children. What a great blessing that is! Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet and I know that if we follow him and his words, we will be on a better path to eternal happiness and being able to return to our father in heaven. This gospel is true and I know if you pray in faith, and read The Book of Mormon, you too will feel and know for a surety that it is true. You will recognize many blessings in your life! I know Jesus Christ sacrificed for our sins so that we may repent of them so we can return to live with him again. Recognize the blessings in your life, read The Book of Mormon and listen to the prophets speak and follow their teachings and you will be on the right path of much righteousness! I promise you that as you do these things, you will receive many blessings in your life and great will be the glory! I leave my testimony with you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I've been called in various positions in my ward. One of my favorites was to be able to organize fun activities for young single adults. We've done so many fun activities like dances, sports, games, movie nights and many more! I'm always studying the scriptures and praying and doing what I can to live righteously and by doing many fun activites, it makes it easier to live the standards and principles I'm taught as a mormon. Conversion is the key! I'm constantly trying to convert myself more and more to living the gospel and becoming more like Christ!
