Hi I'm Aaron

I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving in the Ohio, Columbus mission.

About Me

I am a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am serving in the Ohio, Columbus mission. Being an ambassador of the Lord Jesus Christ is something I have looked forward to my whole life, and it is the greatest blessing of my life. I love music. I play the guitar and sing. I also can play a few hymns on the piano. Music means so much to me, it has changed my life and turned me toward Jesus Christ. Music has a special place in me. I love sports, specifically basketball. Some of my greatest memories have come from playing it or watching it. I am an AVID BYU fan. I used to write about BYU football and basketball for BYUfootblog.com. I love learning and teaching (specifically about the gospel). I find it thrilling. I absolutely love teaching in all of its forms, whether it is by teaching a lesson, giving a talk, face to face interaction, by example, by music, by writing, by social media, or many more, I absolutely love it. It is a passion of mine. Overall, I hope that when people think of me, they will be able to recognize that I love and revere the Savior by the way I live.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of the World, and that He is at the head of His church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am a Mormon because I know that "absolute truth exists in a world that increasingly disdains and dismisses absolutes." Absolute truth is found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am a Mormon because I know that God is our loving Heavenly Father and we are His children. I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. He is the light and life of the world. Through His Atonement, we can be forgiven, we can repent, we can learn, we can improve, we can change, and we can be happy. I am a Mormon because I know that God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith and restored the fulness of the gospel through Joseph Smith. I am a Mormon because I know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. It is true. It is the most correct of any book on Earth. I know all of this because the Spirit of the Lord has personally testified to me that all of this is true, because I asked God with a sincere heart, real intent, and planning on acting on the answer I received. I received the answer that this is true and I haven't looked back. You can know for yourself if what I have testified about is true. You can ask God. If you ask in faith, He will answer you. If you haven't yet done this, I invite you to do so. It'll bless your life tremendously, just like it has blessed mine.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving and testifying of Jesus Christ. I am a missionary, so my life right now consists of learning of Him, serving Him, testifying of Him, and inviting all to come unto Him. This should be what our lives consist of regardless of our calling. Doing this makes me happy. President Dieter F. Uchtdorf taught, "Discipleship is the pursuit of holiness and happiness. It is the path to our best and happiest self." This is currently my favorite quote! The two things in life I desire most in life are holiness and happiness, and they are both found in the gospel of Jesus Christ. As I have tried to more fully come unto Jesus Christ, I have felt holiness and happiness which is the greatest feeling in the world. It adds a deeper and clearer sense of purpose to my life.
