Hi I'm Erik Johnson

I grew up in the United States, the greatest thing that I had to over come was a bad wreck when I was five. I'm a Morman

About Me

I am a College Student from the College of Southern Idaho, I went there to become what I wanted to be in the future. When I got there that is not what happened I jumped from different majors that I thought I wanted to try, but none of them were for me. Before college I was loving high school playing sports geting dirty and staying focused on what was important. My favorite thing in the world to do is to play football and to help others out that need it. The biggest impact in my life was when I was little I was in an accident, it was very bad and should have killed me, or kept me in the hospital, for a lot longer then I was there. This accident left me with a portion of my brain removed and it had a big effect on how I learned in school. the other thing was it shattered bones in the top of my arm and impeded on the moblilty of how I was going to be able to use my arm. instead the people that were at home all prayed and had faith that I was going to be alright, that is how I get to start sharing my story with you.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the mormon religion and I have loved to learn how to make my faith stronger in Jesus Christ. It is a great feeling to know that some days you get to serve like he would and on others you get to partake of something that he personally in life got to bless and share with the world. The biggest faith booster I have for a testimony is the power of priesthood. To start when I was five I was in a big bike accident and I was hit by an RV, and I died instantly, a neighbor that lived in the town I lived in was nearby and came and gave me a blessing as soon as he was done he was done he put a sheet over me so other people could not see me. As soon as he was done I woke up, and instantly went into shock. This happened three other times and I was able to get a blessing and everything turned out to be ok. This to me makes me want to be the best priesthood holder I can. So now I prepare to go on a mission and get to help change peoples lives. since wrote in here last I have been in the Missionary training center, there are many things that Ihave learned to do and to over come one of those things is to let my feelings flow share them for inspiration. This was hard for me due to massive stage fright, but I have prayed and read my scriptures to know that from small things can great things come to pass. My small matter of stage fright has been over come, and has allowed me to give my imput on lesson studies and to feel that my heavenly father is helping me to teach his word.

How I live my faith

As I said in the top of this page my accident was one of the biggest things that helped to shape my faith, in relation to this I know that as long as I make to keep all of my callings and to stay on track by going to church, magnify my callings, and to make sure that I keep myself and my family in unity with how we need to live to keep our spirits away from sin. I know that this is hard sometimes, and things like sin can sneek up on you, but if you are worthy to get rid of these that they cannot hurt you. the last thing that I want to say is that in my week of learning how to serve the lord he has given me a lot of help and I want to keep his love so when I get into ruts that he can help pull me out.
