Hi I'm Courtney

I love Harry Potter. I listen to K-Pop. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been attending BYU-Idaho for almost two years now, but I am doing online for winter semester. I love to surround myself with friends and family, and I am never seen without a book. Some of my hobbies are reading, writing, singing, and technical theater.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I lived in the church my whole life. It wasn't until after my first year of college that I really appreciated the gospel and the community that has surrounded me my entire life. I know the church is true and I know that through the power of faith and prayer, our trials will disappear and our reward will be that much greater according to our faithfulness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live a Christ-like life. I treat everyone like I would like to be treated, and if someone has a question about gospel principles, I help answer them. I participate in my singles ward by going to church every week, and being a comfort to those in need.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

The Lord has given us so much, and he asks for us in return to give 10% of our income. Not only that, but since we are a community and we are all striving to work together to better everyone's lives, we should all tip in. It is not that much of our income, yet we can do such amazing things for people with that money. Show more Show less
