Hi I'm Megan Doxey

I grew up in downtown Ogden. I was born and raised in the Church and I love the Gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a CNA who loves working and loves associating with others. I work crazy hours and I spend as much time as I can being with my family. I am now leaving it all behind to serve my Heavenly Father for a year and a half in Illinois Chicago. I am so excited for the experience I am going to have. I hope that along with my passion for being around people and my ability to talk a lot that I may be able to touch the hearts of those who are searching for a place of comfort and love. I not only work for elderly people, but I try everyday to be the best kind of servant that my Heavenly Father needs. Life can be so hard and mentally, physically, and spiritually tiring, but I know who I am. I'm a Daughter of God. I know He loves me and He gives me strength.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born and raised in this glorious church. But I have also been able to experience my own trials and errors. It is through the mistakes that I have made and through the process of repentance that I have been able to gain a testimony of the gospel. I have been able to gain a relationship with my Heavenly Father and along with that a sense of worth and belonging. I know that He wants us to return to Him in glory.

How I live my faith

The gospel is my life style. It is the reason I am who I am and the reason that I can hope and continue trying for something better. I have been blessed with many opportunities within the church where I can serve all those around me and help those my age as they in-turn help me. In this world, it is not easy to hold standards that are higher than what is being advertized on the streets, but when I follow the standards that my Savior has put in place for me I experience true joy. As a missionary, it is easier to truly live what I believe, but I firmly believe that there is true power within those who live the gospel because they choose to, not because we think we have to. Living what I believe comes with the everyday decision I make to follow my Savior Jesus Christ.
