Hi I'm Forrest

I grew up in San Diego, California in the United states. I love to surf, mountain bike, and snowboard. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love outdoor sports! Surfing was the biggest part of my life behind my religion, my family, and school. When the waves weren't good, I'd be mountain biking. And now that I'm attending college in Utah, I love to snowboard as often as I can! I am the oldest of six children, four girls and two boys. I work very early mornings to help my family pay for our needs. I love them and am privileged to live with them while I go to college.

Why I am a Mormon

I am the second generation in my family to become a Latter-day Saint. I was taught from my youth about Christ and my religion, but I have been converted and have come to know for myself that it is the true and that it is correct path. I have found a happiness in this gospel that is lasting and surpasses the momentary pleasure that much of the world offers. No matter what major trials I have, am, and will go through, I am absolutely sure that the truths taught in the LDS church, and abiding by its teachings will allow me to be truly happy no matter the circumstance. Following the pattern of Christ's life and teachings has always and will always make me happier in this life and the next. Because I know He lives, and because I know right from wrong, I am accountable to God. What I choose to do, say, and think while on earth has eternal significance to my happiness after this life. I have received a very personal and powerful witness that this church is true and that Christ is our Savior and Mediator. Because I have been privileged to know this, I will never deny it. I may stand alone in many instances but I will never falter in my faith. I love this gospel and I am ever grateful for it.

How I live my faith

I serve as a missionary in the Mozambiqe, Maputo Mission. I teach about Christ and the hope His gospel brings. There is a peace, hope, and happiness found in this Gospel that is found nowhere else. I want to share that with every person I meet.
