Hi I'm Haleigh

I grew up in Park City, Utah and attend college at BYU. I'm serving a mission in Spain because I love being a Mormon!

About Me

I am 21 years old and love life. I love teaching children and I am studying to be an elementary school teacher at Brigham Young University. I love to learn. I love being surrounded with the people I care about and am so blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I come from a family of 4 children and am extremely close with all my siblings, my parents, my cousins and my grandparents who are all such good examples to me. I was born a Mormon, but that does not mean that I blindly believe. Through the example of those I love, from an early age I have learned for myself that the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are true. I am constantly learning and growing in the gospel, and that is why I am a Mormon. Being a Mormon helps me to get better each and every day and helps me to learn from my experiences. It helps me to be happy and it helps me to know why I am on this earth, where I will go after I die and how I can achieve the goals that I set for myself.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living my life. Because of my faith in Jesus Christ and his atoning sacrifice I know that my life has a purpose. I know that I will have ups and downs in my life, but that each one of us are on this earth to gain experience and to grow from everything that happens to us. This helps me to have a positive outlook on life. Living my faith also helps me to love those around me because I know that Jesus Christ came to this earth for each one of the people who currently live on this earth and who have ever lived on this earth since the world began. Since I know that God loves each of his children so much, this helps me to love them as well.
