About Me

Im LaKrista Sabey i am 20 years old and i am serving a full time mission is St. Louis, Missouri:) i have an amazing mother who is my best friend and my hero, Heavenly Father knew he couldn't seperate us! two younger brothers who are also my best friends, and have helped me through everything. I am so blessed to have them, they are my life and i love them more than anything. I love knowing i can be with them forever, because it wouldn't be heaven without them! i love nature and the simple beautiful things around me everyday. i love rain, sunsets, stars, walking barefoot on warm sidewalks, wind in my hair, high heels, good hair days, candles, dreamcatchers, fall leaves, books, freshly washed sheets, bear hugs, dancing, sweatshirts, art, laughing so hard i cry, caramel popcorn, lights from the stop lights when its dark, and i love being a missionary. so many things! i am so blessed and grateful to be here:)

Why I am a Mormon

I've always been someone who wants to be the best i can. To know that the way im living my life and the person i am becoming is someone that my Heavenly Father would be proud of. God gave his son so we could learn from our mistakes and become better each and everyday, so one day we could live with him again forever. Christs gospel that has been put on the earth again today is a symbol of love and hope. He gave us these teachings from the past and the present that helps us every single day how to be happy. When i put my faith in him and the truth he has blessed me with with i am happier than i ever could be. The hard times i go through have been made easier because of his love and the promises that he has made to all of us. Over all it has made my faith and relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ grow so much and stronger than it ever could have been!

How I live my faith

The ways i live my faith are sometimes different day to day but a lot of the ways stay consistant. I've realized that i can't do anything alone. I am always needing the help of my Heavenly Father, no matter what. Also his story and his plan for me is greater than anything that i could have set up for myself. He knows me and he loves me, so praying serveral times a day for guidance to help me accomplish the things i need to do that day has made the biggest difference. Along with forgetting myself and the person that i am and asking for God to shape me and my life in a way that he knows is best and will bring me the most eternal happiness. Over all just having faith in him and his teachings and promises is what it comes down to of how i live my faith. Nothing is certain, things change all time but if you have faith in him you can make it through anything.
