Hi I'm Naomi

Born in New Zealand, raised in Fiji and now working for the Hamilton Community. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from a large boisterous Fijian family of 7 children and love my family with everything I have. Am currently working full time, and am about to chuck it all in so I can serve my Lord for the next 18 months. My new thing at the moment is Spin Fitness Class, never thought it would be me but I love the mental strength I feel from pushing through when my body is screaming out in pain :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. For me being a member of this Church is being true to my divine nature. This church is under the guidance of my Heavenly Father who has restored through his prophet Joseph Smith the gospel for the last days. Within this gospel I have found the answers that I need to know where I am going, why I am here and what I am meant to be doing whilst here. Having traveled the dusty road of tribulation I know without a doubt that safety from the storms of life is within the Lord's Church. He has appointed servants who lead and direct us today. Coupled with the scriptures and the Book of Mormon I am dressed in the armor of the Lord. At the end of the day I desire to be reunited with my family in the Kingdom of our God, and all that is now possible through the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. The Church is true...... and I invite you to find out for yourself what this light, knowledge and truth could do to work miracles in your life and the lives of your family.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by CHOICE, my choice to be a disciple of Christ whether it be at home, work, church or out in the Community. Each day I strive to do the right things for the right reasons, constantly checking in with my Heavenly Father whenever the natural man takes over, One of the highlights of my career is setting up a Youth Trust for Pacific students to be able to showcase cultural talents. Watching this Trust grow has been truly rewarding, a testament of God's love for his children. Its the best feeling ever making a small change to leave the world a better place. Served as a Ward Missionary for the last 3 years and its the best calling ever to be a part of bringing joy into other's lives. After all that is the best way to live my faith by example and by sharing it!
